No matter whether you come to Belgrade for a long or a short visit – be sure not to miss Nikola Tesla Museum, a unique institution of science and culture in Serbia and in the world, established on December 5th 1952 within a beautiful residential villa in Krunska street (the central area of Belgrade).  It is known as the only museum in the world which preserves the original and personal inheritance of Nikola Tesla.

Shortly before the museum was founded, in accordance with Tesla’s last wish, his nephew Mr. Sava Kosanovic transferred all the documents and Tesla’s personal belongings to Belgrade. Besides Tesla’s ashes and his death mask, the museum possesses and displays several exceptionally valuable collections that include hundreds of thousands of original documents, numerous books, journals, historical technical exhibits, photographs, plans, drawings, and personal belongings of the world famous famous Serbian scientist.
